Mock COP is an international organisation that amplifies youths’ voices at local and global levels of decision-making in climate justice and enables young people everywhere to secure their future. I served as the Volunteer and Logistics Coordinator of the campaign in 2023 where we focused on climate education advocacy.• Led recruitment and training of over 400 volunteers, country focal points and delegates from 100+ countries.• Coordinated grassroots projects, Teach the Parent/Teacher/Politician, reaching hundreds with climate education.• Organised a Mock Education Ministers Summit (EMS) to raise ambitions for quality climate education.• Coordinated a diverse group of over 200 youths from 89 countries to organise the Mock EMS.• Hosted webinars and capacity building sessions to prepare delegates for the Mock EMS• Oversaw Mock COP activities in Africa, including partnerships with local organizations to increase impact and reach.• Represented Mock COP at COP28 UAE, organising events, speaking at others, networking and leading global youth advocacy for quality climate education.
