I am a dedicated physical security, financial crimes and investigations leader with a proven track record. I have been successful in creating formal training programs and best practices in areas such as new account fraud, elder financial exploitation, counterfeit checks, on-us check cashing, check kiting, data breaches, social engineering schemes, and others - such as Covid-19 government program fraud. I also support these ideas by incorporating them into policies which are supported by detailed risk assessments. I also exhibit regulatory proficiency in completing detailed and accurate SAR information, including the completion of quality narratives, to FinCEN. Additionally, I have extensive experience in the implementation and oversight of programs that have greatly reduced fraud and robbery losses. Some of which include debit card fraud, consumer wire transfers, check kiting, new account, anti-money laundering, overdraft access abuse and internal embezzlement reduction and various physical security strategies.I also possess retail merchant loss prevention experience in conducting various employee theft investigations, implementing inventory shrink reduction and safety strategies. I have had the privilege of being called upon to speak at various financial crimes groups on fraud trends and best practices to mitigate risks and serve on the Wisconsin Banker's Association's Financial Crimes Committee.
