Platform Coordinator/ Attribute Leader in Advanced Product Creation (APC) August 2011 – May 2012 – Semcon @ Jaguar Land RoverWorking in a key role within a small service team in the fast-paced APC environment as the Service Platform Co-ordinator;.As first point of contact for the program teams, attribute leaders and COC’s in APC my responsibilities were:• Developing and cascading Service strategies, requirements and targets to programme teams on future vehicle platforms.• Sole service representation in technical meetings and PSMs for all JLR programs at the pre-project start stage.• Acting as a PAT (Programme Attribute Team) leader ensuring Serviceability is designed in from the beginning of a programme, maximising lifecycle cost savings at this critical product phase. • Creation of the Service Cost of Ownership target setting and status documentation.

SERP engineer within APC with the aim of solving service issues on vehicles at the early stage of the design architecture As the first point of contact for service assessments in APC my responsibilities included: • The conduction of digital serviceability assessment of pre-project start vehicle package environments. • Sole service representation in package meetings for all JLR programs at the pre-project start stage. • Resource planning for the downstream SERP engineers. • The management of all issues found during the service assessments, where continuous work is required with all areas of PD to ensure the best solution for the business occurs. • The preparation of handover documents at a programs project start date for downstream service representatives.

Key member in a team of service engineers conducting SERP studies on JLR platforms, including: Jaguar XF (X250) , Jaguar XJ (X351) , LR Freelander(L359) , LR Evoque (L538) and Range Rover (L405). My responsibilities included: • The conducting of digital service assessment on pre-production vehicle package environments to identify serviceability issues. • Working with powertrain, chassis and body engineers to provide service solutions, with the aim of reducing warranty cost in the aftermarket, as well as improving cost of ownership.

Working directly with senior in-house and client design engineers.My responsibilities included: • 3D modelling using SolidWorks® to design the necessary components for the machines.• Preparation of detail drawings, profile drawings for laser cutting, parts lists and hydraulic schematics.• Drafting of operation, maintenance and illustrated parts manuals.• Machining of components using CNC, lathe and milling machinery
