For fifteen years I was a graphic designer in the fashion and apparel industry. With the birth of my daughter, I decided to go back to school to pursue a career in the mental health field. I wanted to step away from the computer and work with people. I chose therapy because it allows me to give back to my community while also growing as a person and a father. After graduating with a masters in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, I spent a year interning in a therapy clinic with an integrative foundation. There, I learned to work in a client-centered framework that offered patients a specialized therapy experience, catered to their unique personality and circumstances.Currently, I am building a private practice and looking for other work opportunities that might utilize both my experience as a therapist and my knowledge of the corporate world.Therapy Modalities, skills, and trainings:Psychodynamic, Relational, Gestalt, Jungian dreamwork, Trauma, Couples counseling, Non-Violent Communication, Chakra informed, Mindfulness-based, Trans-personal, Child therapy, Somatic
