Overseeing the recovery and liquidation of any overdue loans.4. Overseeing customer satisfaction in loan management.5. Managing write-offs and maintaining the quality of any credit data.

An exciting role to exercise customer care skills, financial management skills, leadership skills and people management skills. I was tasked with Maintaining and monitoring a complete lease portfolio using the support framework designed to ensure all active leases are in good standing in accordance with company policy, Enforcing lease payment schedules and educating company clients on need to pay for their leases to ensure ownership of the assets by the clients, Marketing and awareness of company’s lease products program to ensure clients come on board and are maintained through the entire lease period, Spearheading departmental activities through work schedules, assigning roles to team members and doing proactive market follow ups on behalf of the team.I was able to consolidate and lead a great team of officers through effective communication and efficient coordination that led to a great impact in the number of leases registered during that period and also oversaw several stakeholder engagement meetings that enhanced a good relationship between the stakeholders, clients with the company and its staff.

Having joined this company in a support role and risen to the position of head of operations spearheading and overseeing the general company operations in line with the company’s mandate and reporting to the relevant departments, I was able to achieve 100% operational efficiency through process automation, staff planning, finance and marketing planning; with the company securing for the first time a government project at the cost of over Ksh 33m by spearheading strategic partner engagements, and developing the first ever strategic plan for the year 2020 that saw the company retract to profitability and sustainability. During my industrial training I was involved in Obtaining and consolidating daily reports and preparing consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual reports on company performance, Taking part in the development of detailed monthly, quarterly and annual company plans for different departments, Providing advocacy and communications on the implementation of plans within departments in the organization to monitor their progress in line with company objectives, With the support of strategy manager, undertake the preparation and negotiation of performance contract between head of departments and the board of directors among other administrative roles.

As a volunteer, I was able to take part in Youth empowerment and overseeing projects initiated by youth groups through the organization, Sensitization on gender based violence with major focus on girl-child education, Initiating peace campaigns and overseeing peace events within the community, Coordinating the implementation of organizational projects including training and workshops and other projects funded by the organization.
