I was always loved working on puzzles when I was growing up. There as something there about taking all those colorful little pieces and figuring out a way to put them together to create a larger picture. Thisfascination with that process of observation and discovery is still a part of who I am today except insteadof playful puzzles, solving complex business or people issues satisfies me. Earning my Bachelor ofEngineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering allowed me to work on complex questions in bothautomotive and aerospace industries. After obtaining my Master of Business Administration degree Ihave been able to leverage this standpoint while working in the automotive and aerospace industry, withexperience in both start-up and long-lasting corporate environments. I have been a culture transformationchange agent, working with all levels of the company from the floor to the C-suite executives. I love learning and applying the Human Centered Design Thinking methodology and how tocreate, define, and refine exciting and innovative experiences for customers. I have been awarded multiplepatents in this quest for knowledge along with improving people’s lives. I realize that is it the people that I have worked with that matter more to me. A good team andleader has the ability to improve each other, it is a circular process allowing each participant to grow bothprofessionally and personally. Sharing knowledge and observations is how this process can succeed. Ihad an employee who liked to interrupt during meetings and it was only after I told them how theinterruptions impacted did they even realize that they were doing it. To this day I am used as a referencefor them which I am happy to do. Supporting others allows me to practice my soft observational andleadership skills and this transcends all aspects of my life.As a triathlete who enjoys challenging myself physically and mentally, striving to improve my performance and be an inspiring role model for others, I encourage and cheer others on the course. That interaction gives me strength to continue my journey, wherever that takes me.
