I contributed to product development and maintenance tasks for Adverts.ie, one of Ireland's most widely-used classified ads platforms. With a user base in the hundreds of thousands, my role encompassed developing new features, addressing bugs, and executing architectural updates on this legacy system. Noteworthy changes included transitioning a more than a decade old PHP codebase from PHP 5.6 to PHP 8.3, sunsetting the MongoDB database, and migrating from Solr to OpenSearch for full-text search functionality.

I single-handedly spearheaded the development of manufacturing and trading management software for a prominent Hungarian firm in the furniture manufacturing sector. I played a pivotal role in facilitating the onboarding process for new software developers, actively contributing to the company's recruitment efforts and leading the "Bootcamp" team.The Bootcamp initiative was designed to provide comprehensive insight into Emarsys's technical and development culture. Daily agile ceremonies, development practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Object-Oriented (OO) principles, and various development patterns were also covered. New recruits participated in the Bootcamp, engaging in low-risk projects while familiarizing themselves with these practices and methodologies.I assumed responsibility for the successful launch of Emarsys's inaugural Software Developer Academy in August 2018. I developed both backend and frontend of the company's real estate market, fashion and socnet websites. For example: www.irodahaz.info, www.raktar.info, www.stylemagazin.hu www.ingatlanhirek.huI designed and developed a framework and database specificly for the real estate market websites of the company which was then serving as a base for more then 30 websites "speaking" in multiple languages.I had a huge role in the success of the companies flagship website www.irodahaz.info. My SEO and usability suggestions resulted in a doubled unique visitor statistics in 2 years (the statistics were stagnating for 8 years then)The irodahaz.info recieved a "High quality website" award in 2009 and 2010 from the hungarian azevhonlapja.hu (Website of the year) organization.
