• Provide engineering and technical support to operations for all products released for manufacturing.• Champion Value Engineering and Cost reduction projects.• Provide liaison functions between R&D and Manufacturing Operations.• Support Customer/Sales requests for special modifications (e.g., product derivative).• Champion NPI (New Product Introductions), transfer of new products from R&D to Production.• Manage the Transfer of products for manufacturing from one factory location to another.• Owner of Regulatory Compliance responsibilities for all products released for manufacturing (updates, maintenance, sustaining certifications, etc.).• Support Sales, customers, customer support department, and other departments on engineering/technical matters relating to all products.• Coordinate and manage field problem resolution.• Participate within the New Products Meeting group to facilitate the creation of new product ideas.• Support Director of Operations, Director of Quality, Director of Engineering/R&D, Director of Sales.• Debug product problems and recommend fixes.• Coordinate New Product documentation throughout all cross-functional teams.• Develop New “C” type products or participate in the development of “C” type products with R&D.• Oversee and manage production testers: Planning, organizing, coordinating, maintenance, calibration, etc.• Support R&D as objective testing, evaluation of new products, particularly with real-world testing.• Support R&D with feedback on manufacturability to improve DFM/DFA efforts. • Support, archive, and manage engineering “Golden Samples” for all products.
