About David Osterquist
25 year law enforcement veteran retired in 2017. Earned several awards for my work in school-based policing and for my work with the Crisis Intervention Team. My last assignment was as the supervisor of the school resource unit. I have been an instructor for the National Association of School Resource Officers since 2015. My specialty curriculum is Adolescent Mental Health. In the schools I have served to de-escalate students in crisis with the goal of classroom reintegration, collected and analyzed behavior data, and worked with students to develop appropriate social skills. Currently, I serve as the District Security Coordinator.
