I worked in the WFU Center for Nanotechnology as an Undergraduate Research Assistant to a Ph.D. student investigating the thermoelectric and piezoelectric properties of carbon nanotube films as well as exploring their possible applications.

During the summer of 2015, I received independent funding to explore dialects on the Delmarva Peninsula. Over the course of my research, I travelled to three communities to collect linguistic and historic data to come to a deeper understanding of the dialect varieties in the region.

During the summers between 2012 and 2014, I assisted the Land Conservancy of Southern Chester County in maintaining their nature preserves and in expanding the facilities of their preserves including building hiking trails and pathways.
