Over an 11 year period provided a range of services which furthered the short and long term goals of the company: Internet programming; database design and implementation; project management; operating system research; and compression research.

Taught three math courses (geometry, algebra, and pre-calculus) to a group of 40 non-traditional high school students. Tracked the progress of each student. The program is designed to ensure that these students attend college.

Responsibilities included grading exams and explaining concepts and applications of calculus, combinatorics, probability and optimization.

Worked with a small team to research and develop a voice compression algorithm based on a recently discovered orthogonal function. Designed Mathematica and C code to investigate properties of the function and looked for ways these properties could be incorporated into the algorithm. Tested the viability of the function in different sonic environments. Researched the regularities present in sampled speech. Implemented several versions of the algorithm which effectively compressed and uncompressed digital voice recordings.

Responsible for the conguration and maintenance of web servers on Unix/Solaris and NT platforms. Designed, programmed and implemented internal database-driven tracking tools. Managed and set up collocation services and equipment: installed and supported collocation and web customers, educated clients as to service options and Internet protocols, documented web and collocation procedures. Trained sales force in Internet and web technology.- Programmed and implemented time-saving, database-driven, web accessible applications designed to facilitate customer installations and support, track product and client data, and to track customer contacts, enhancing information sharing between sales and operations departments.- Grew web hosting service to 300 sites, collocation service to 40 clients.
