This role requires exceptional communication skills, offering clear and accurate guidance to aid the rapid reaction to all emerging threat and risk. I ensure a full intelligence view is available both pre and post match in order to secure robust risk assessment and organisational learning.As a trained public order officer, I policed significant large scale events across London. This role also included proactive response to public unrest, providing fast response to address some of the most challenging, dangerous and high-pressure situations. I demonstrated a calm and thoughtful approach; effectively managing exceptionally demanding and heightened situations.
Communications Officer
This role placed me at the forefront of Command and Control for the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) receiving 999 emergency calls and 101 non emergency calls. Covering the initial investigation of an incident, identifying Harm, Risk and Threat: through to the deployment of appropriate MPS resources. Working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, requiring me to adapt to changing situations, whilst making sound operational decisions to ensure the safety of colleagues, the public and the Communities within London.
