Dr. Davis has been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist since 1980. The highlight of his professional experience was during his time in the US Air Force where he served as a Clinical Psychologist from 1978-1998 treating active duty, dependents, and retirees suffering from stress-related disorders and other psychological and emotional symptoms. His responsibilities included serving as the Director of Stress Management and Biofeedback at two major Air Force medical centers. He was first certified in biofeedback and neurofeedback in 1986 and is a Senior Fellow in AAPB. He retired from the USAF as a Lt/Col and Senior Chief in the Biomedical Science Corp at Travis AFB, California. Dr. Davis has been in private practice since 1998 to the present. His primary treatment modalities include cognitive-behavioral therapy augmented with biofeedback and neurofeedback as learning tools, hypnosis, and insight therapy all of which are applied to assist his clients to develop improved self/other understanding and awareness and effective self-regulation skills. His goals now are to use his training and experience to provide psychological services to seniors and the elderly, his peers. Besides providing treatment based upon standard treatment modalities for anxiety and depression he will seek to invent programs using the latest techniques of bio and neuro therapies and technologies to enhance cognitive and emotional functioning.
