CurrentSince his graduation in 1978 from the Doctoral Program in Professional Psychology at what is now know as Alliant International University in San Diego, CA., Dr Davis has had a varied yet distinguished career working in several arenas of Professional Psychology. His career highlights include serving as a Field Assessment Associate for the US Peace Corp, a University level Instructor of Psychology, a Director of Continuing Education and Training for a large medical center, and a twenty year career as a Clinical Psychologist for the US Air Force Biomedical Science Corp (Retired Lt/Col). Since his retirement from the Air Force in 1998 he has been in private practice providing cognitive and behavioral psychotherapy augmented with biofeedback and neurofeedback for the treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral, and other stress-related psychophysiological disorders. He is a licensed psychologist in Arizona, California, and Hawaii and a network provider for multiple insurance companies. Currently, and after more than forty years of service as a psychologist, he is working part-time from his home office in the Tucson area of Arizona providing what he identifies as "Interactive Teletherapy for Stress Reduction", or IT-SR. This therapy utilizes a combination of CBT, stress management, and self-regulation skills training using remotely monitored biofeedback.
