What really motivates me is working alongside great people solving complex health and social care issues and seeing the results improving people’s lives. That's exciting and rewarding!!! Over the last 20 years I have worked in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom on a wide range of issues. This has given me exposure to a broad of issues and challenges and a wide base of knowledge to draw on. I firmly believe that together is better. By working together and harnessing each other skills, knowledge and experience 1 plus 1 can make 3. I get the most out of working with others, in collaboration exploring issues, discussing ideas and bringing different perspectives to the table. I also personally believe in using the data – hard or soft to inform the investigation, design and implementation of solutions. It’s important that we move past opinions and bias to decisions that are grounded in theory and the evidence. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my amazing wife and three kids. I am very much a kid at heart, love a good dad joke, playing guitar, watching sport and singing in the car.
