Current- Ensure continuous improvement projects are in place, so that the highest level of operational performance are met.- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee involvement and open communication.- Ensure operation capabilities are aligned with the overall business strategy including processes, layout, and work cell optimizations.- Develop and lead the production, quality team to execute plans. Identify opportunities.- Evaluate existing and refine manufacturing processes, policies and practices in the areas of lean, six sigma manufacturing techniques.- Oversee operation budgets to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure targets.- Seek opportunities for process improvements; driving cost reductions.- Manage the strategy and growth of a growing quality department and the implementation ofexpanded processes and practices.- Manage the growing capacity plan of production to meet an increasing throughput demand.- Ensure monthly and quarterly targets are met.- Ensure accurate headcount in both direct and indirect labor are balanced.- Lead and develop a training strategy for a growing production workforce with measurement and evaluation plans.- Lead a production management team through change management.- Produce action plans in which objectives are defined and steps for achieving them are clearly specified.- Effectively manages several senior individuals and departments by clarifying roles and responsibilities.- Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates.- Establish training requirements, and updates and monitor progress for all production staff.- Develop talent through active coaching.
