With over 38 years of oil industry experience, I deliver actionable results and recommendations on a contract basis, primarily in the Permian Basin, Rockies, and in carbon sequestration. As a certified petroleum geophysicist and a licensed geophysicist, I have successfully applied a range of seismic reservoir characterization techniques, including AVO lithology, curvature, and residual structure to various geological settings, including offshore Gulf of Mexico, onshore Gulf Coast, and virtually all unconventional plays worldwide.I am regarded by the industry as the top practitioner of Ant Tracking, a seismic attribute with which I have developed a technique to correctly predict hydraulic communication along faults in the Permian Basin and South Texas, with applicability to other basins and to carbon sequestration projects. I also have extensive experience in new product development, technical sales, mentoring, and integration with other domains. I have previously served as Schlumberger's surface seismic interpretation leader for carbon sequestration, and as its corporate chief geophysicist for unconventionals during unconventional resources' formative years.
