NEC provides managed services to the Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) End User Computing account. My role is that of portfolio manager of non-BAU project work in the EUC space. The portfolio consists of around twenty concurrent projects of varying sizes from $2,000 - $1,5m and can last from one week to eighteen months.Due to the varied nature of the projects that can be as simple as arranging resourcing to support a laptop deployment or as complex as a Citrix server and application upgrade across the entire TfNSW cluster, my role encompasses all aspects of the project lifecycle from simple administration to full on project and program management. Reporting to senior management and running steering committees is a standard part of the role.As well as working in Project Delivery I am involved in the pre-sales part of the process and have had on several occasions to create business cases and statements of work. Although not intimately involved in the commercial side of things I am well acquainted with the intricacies of contract interpretation and service agreements. The role has a high degree of autonomy with success measured by customer satisfaction and revenue generated through consistent delivery.

Retail and Wealth Systems (RaW) - Shared Services Project DeliveryThe role of Shared Services Project Delivery was to act as the 'voice of the business' by making sure their expectations were managed during transformation projects and activities.Responsibilities:- Managed the deployment of ~220 Windows 8 computers to the Wealth Management contact centres - Managed an indirect team of up to ten to deliver the application remediation of ~150 business applications for Windows 8 compliance covering the Colonial First State, CommInsure, Advice, and CFS-Global Asset Management business units in the Bank's Wealth Management (WM) division- Supervised the system, integration, and user acceptance testing of WIndows 8 remediated WM applications through both in-house iT teams, and third party vendors in a matrix, federated environment.- Acted as consultant and coached other Wealth Management IT project managers and delivery managers through IT technical issues and processes- Trusted adviser to the Wealth Management business units to help them resolve their IT issues and guide them through IT and business transformation - Managed, multiple internal and external stakeholders in a federated IT delivery environment - Presented to senior management the status of the WM Shared Servies project portfolio including any necessary remediation activities- Educated business users in IT service delivery processes to ensure resilience of IT availability - Management and reporting of the Shared Services project portfolio

Wealth Management - Service AssuranceThe role of Service Assurance was to provide IT governance to the federated WM IT teams; Colonial First State, Global Asset Management, and CommInsure to ensure adherence to standard enterprise processes.Responsibilities:- Ensure IT governance processes were adhered to by the WM IT teams and provide training when necessary.- Participated in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) strategy development, application readiness, and testing of the WM BCP solution.- Managed the desktop transformation project for the Global Asset Management business.
