In addition to other business ventures, I founded Eleos Staffing Solutions to allow clinicians such as myself to focus on patients. Quality patient care is the primary reason for why I chose to attend medical school in the first place. Healthcare is now data driven as many other industries are. Unfortunately, this transformation has taken its toll on patients and clinicians. I personally have felt the strain of this as the demands for my time on the EMR has increased over the years. I found myself seriously burned out and realized the path that I was on was not sustainable. Out of necessity I founded Eleos Staffing Solutions to become a company focused on solutions for the healthcare industry.Eleos Staffing Solutions was created purely from the patient’s perspective. Over my 25+ years of experience as a practicing internist/geriatrician I realized that patients want three fundamental things: Access, Communication, and Coordination.
