Data Quality Administrator for Combined-Theater Analyst-Vetted Relational System Database A Data Quality Administrator (DQA) is primarily responsible for the management of database analysts and the integrity of the data contained within the CT-AVRS database. The DQA has the ability to train others on database usage, perform technical administrative database functions and manage the work of other Database Analysts (DBAs) under the DQA's purview. Specifically this "senior-level" position demonstrates advanced skills including DQA techniques, primarily management and analysis. Under general supervision, the DQA trains CT AVRS personnel, performs database maintenance and/or coordination of records. The DQA also does extensive research and analysis. DQAs require a high level of independent judgment to resolve analytic and software application problems, assess staffing issues, and/or address policy compliance. DQAs draft/provide input to CT AVRS Program policy documents such as the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). DQAs are also responsible for writing Quarterly Reports for DIA, COR, and COCOM functionals. In addition, DQAs conduct CT AVRS user testing, attend the biannual DQA Working Group, participate in bimonthly DQA VTCs, conduct database clean up, conduct Cross COCOM Spot Checks, answer merge requests, run the Quality Control Toolbox (QCT) and certify COCOM analysts as QCAs and DBAs. A DQA is responsible for 50% of their time and effort towards data input and 50% towards data extraction, quality control, and other DQA responsibilities. However, these requirements can change at the command’s discretion based on production and manning needs.
