Over 15 years experience in the construction industry with continued learning. Ba(Hons) Architecture - Part 1 (2:1), Part 2 (Masters in Architecture) with Merit at London South Bank University and have the APM Project Management Qualification.I have recently taken on the role as Principal Design Services Officer where I manage a design team consisting of six officers. We support major council projects (over 5 million) and deliver projects in house up to 2.5 million.I have delivered dozens of projects including refurbishment and new build (for both housing and corporate property) and demolition and regeneration projects. Refurbishment projects include remodelling of office accommodation, works to listed buildings (Dover Museum - new shop, entrance and relocation of Visitor Information centre) and interim housing accommodation. I have delivered new build construction projects; including rural housing and town centre flats within a conservation area. These are projects I have project managed from inception to completion.I was involved in the delivery of Tides Tennis Centre, Deal Pier Cafe and more notably on the DDC project team (Design Lead) for the new Dover District Leisure Centre and on the DDC project team for the St James's Development in Dover Town Centre which was a major regeneration project for the town. I also recently project managed the demolition of the former Dover Leisure Centre.My current main projects are client lead for the Maison Dieu (Dover Town Hall), a major refurbishment project and project manager for the delivery of the Sandwich Guildhall Forecourt Improvement Works.
