Actively focused on turning around the company in terms of re-bounding the revenue, margin and profitability as well as rebuilding the customer and organization. In January 2017, successfully raised $86M via 144a offering with multiple aspect - over-subscribed, achieved much better terms, MX stock price rose after the capital raise despite the dilution of the equity.In 2016, MagnaChip revenue rebounded to 8.6% year to year growth, margin up to 25.5% at the fourth quarter, and had an annual operating income of positive $2.7M while adjusted EBITA grew to $40.7M from $0.8M in 2015. Previously, the company revenue decreased in 2013, 2014 and 2015, gross margin down to 21% level, and had cumulative negative operating income of ~$150M from 2013 to 2015.Drove very vigorous cost reduction program and the company saved $65M normalized spending in 2015 and 2016 cumulatively.Company successfully settled re-statement litigation and with active shareholders.

Successfully drove the organization to meet the compliance and achieved financial re-statement on time.Changed the Foundry Solution business to go after Global IC makers, Power customers, China markets and IDMs. Personally actively involved in winning the major deals at the Global IC makers and top Power Discrete and PMIC customers. Strengthened rich design pipeline for all 3 divisions – Foundry, Display, PowerDuring this time, MagnaChip had no financial statement as company was in the midst of the restatement. It was important that CEO earned the trust and respect from the New and Existing customers using personal and professional networks. The new customers that have won during this period helped tremendously from 2016 in re-bounding the Foundry business revenue. Usually, Foundry design-win to revenue lags by 18 month to 24 month.
