While pursuing a B.S. degree in the Communications School for a Public Relations Major and General Business Minor, I progressed in my communication skills and demonstrated leadership. Over the past years of being dedicated to doing more than what is asked makes me an ideal candidate for a position in your workplace. Being successful with communication and determination, I became well skilled in building strong relations with regular customers, along with the business aspects of marketing, managing, and the basics of forming relations with the guests in a corporate restaurant. I am eager to continue working while learning and progressing with communication skills, responsibility, and the ability to help others learn through sharing and educating my own advancements and knowledge.My surf experience started when I was self taught at age 11. From there I became sponsored by Freedom surf shop and was trained in Australia by Mark Dunn, one of the best surf coaches in the world. After college I moved back and started teaching surf lessons for VB Surf Sessions while competing. I have taught one on one lessons along with group lessons and successfully built customer to clientele relationships while giving my students a rewarding, educational and positive experience. I am second in the Mid Atlantic region in the Men's longboard division for the Eastern Surfing Association and won my last two competitions of the 2021 season, making one of those wins my second year in a row. I absolutely love to teach and am extremely passionate about surfing. My youngest student this past summer at age six went from her first wave to competing in less than half a year. I am eager to achieve and become more involved in the surfing community.
