Leading a team of four, we were the first point of call for every business change in the back-office. Operations: I was the first AS/400 technician to work at CNA and was involved in the initial organisation and tuning of the machine. I set up the housekeeping, security, backup programs and procedures throughout the systemProduction Support: Accepting calls from users and solving system and user errors, attending user group meetings and visiting the Head Office in Birmingham to help users. I was also on 7*24-hour call for disaster recovery and regularly performed hardware and software upgrades.Application Development: I was required to identify user requirements and provide solutions to business needs.
