My most immediate responsibility was to transform the business from loss-making (with significant debt) to profit-making, achieving 140% sales growth over 7 years. I managed to achieve this against the backdrop of the global financial crisis. Some of my main achievements include:►Appointed as a main Board and Executive Director, overseeing all group operations of a prestige London-based property service with full operational oversight over multidisciplinary departments including residential sales, lettings, property management commercial and financial services►Led the firm through a private management buyout and held a key role on the executive team, leading a national firm of 44 offices with a turnover of £25 million, while being responsible for 140 staff directly and 300 indirectly ►Led and directed the activities of operational, sales and residential lettings teams in multi-site locations, including standards-setting, developing sales strategies and monitoring performance across the group►Managed a number of financial planning and leading business change initiatives to maximise profit and reduce cost►Regularly monitored operational performance against targets and key performance indicators►Oversaw the group’s sales, marketing and communication strategies in line with group objectives ►Coached and mentored staff in a RICS Mentor capacity as well as having introduced a range of change management structures to improve staff training, qualifications and professional memberships►Chaired the IT committee nationally and selected and implemented a nationwide CRM system, as well as a website change and CRM system interaction which powers the virtual side of the business►Improved team morale through the introduction of coaching, mentoring and succession planning Show less
