Once a $20M division of ChanceLight, Inc., it is now a $65 million division that partners with more than 115 school districts in multiple states to operate schools and programs serving students with special needs.  Created annual operating and capital budgets that have led to successful year over year growth and have increased the profitability of this division. Hired and led a team of School Directors in Florida and Tennessee Locations increasing from 4 locations to 5 locations in 2015. Implemented a 5-year curriculum and technology improvement plan that resulted in improved student retention and 100% of these campuses passing accreditation reviews. Strategically planned compensation allocations to special education teachers and staff for over 28 schools in the state of California. This led to increased retention rates of current staff which reduced turnover by over 50% for special education teaching staff. Successfully negotiated rates with school district leaders during the last two annual cycles by thoroughly communicating and presenting the reasons for needing increased rates, which increased revenue by over $5.5M.  Analyzed and evaluated expansion opportunities and new start up locations utilizing pro forma analysis showing short term and long-term potential of each. This led to the successful expansion of over 20 new schools in California, Illinois, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia. Effectively blended operations in new start up locations leading these locations to have profitable EBITDA margins in Year 1 of operations and meet targeted budgets in subsequent years. Reduced School Van Purchase Costs by average of $15k per van saving $150k annually. Reduced Days Outstanding in A/R by 30 days in 2016 after taking over revenue cycle and managing collection efforts.
