Product Manager − Internet-Based Testing

As a Product Manager for Pearson, I specialized in Internet-Based Testing products and services. I led the Internet-Based Testing product development team, engaged in pinpointing, incubating, and designing innovative product ideas, from product conception and launch to successful delivery. Throughout the lifecycle, I anticipated, highlighted, and remedied risks to success, production roadblocks, and timeline deficiencies. I supported, guided, and oversaw all activities across the product lifecycle, including vision, strategy, development, planning, and execution. I also depended on subject matter experts across departments and functions to align goals, communicate effectively, and identify and act on opportunities to accelerate growth. During my 7-year tenure, I was the key industry expert for internet-based testing for proctored exams. My extensive background in programming and implementation was advantageous to creating and rolling-out a new channel for exam delivery using internet-based exams. This initiative eliminated test center servers and software installation, currently accounting for over 95% of all IT certification exam delivery. As a result of my extensive knowledge and hands-on experience, I was selected to present at the Association of Test Publishers conference four separate years.
