Responsible and accountable for the overall business development, growth, and management of the Southampton branch. My principle duties and responsibilities include the following-:• Branch revenue, profit generation and marketing / financial performance.• Customer relationship management.• Staff leadership and development.• Purchasing, logistics and housekeeping.• Responsible for all Health & Safety aspects of running the branch operations.• Also responsible for new sales generation and negotiation of commercial trading terms.

Responsible for all internal sales & customer support activities including, warehouse personnel and global logistics.• Responsible for all head office building facilities management and sub-contractors. • Primary contact for the top 5 national accounts, managing them in house utilising my supply chain skills to satisfy all of the customers’ compressor and vacuum pump needs. • Travel to either customers’ facilities or our manufacturing plants in Germany and the US.• Key part of Lean team to overhaul all head office functions which resulted in the merging of the finance, purchasing, sales and engineering departments being relocated to one open office enabling much more efficient working conditions.

Responsible for sales of mobile phone systems, satellite navigation and vehicle tracking systems to all industries.• Greeting & welcoming all potential and existing customers to the 4 stores under my control.• Matching the customer’s needs to the right product. • Excellent product knowledge. • Strong collaboration, influencing and problem resolution skills. • Knowledge of selling techniques and merchandising.

• Advanced experience of selling to the Japanese and Korean OEM’s.• Managing major UK 1st. tier suppliers to increase current penetration.• Successful Management of implementing £1,000,000 worth of new business across various platforms over an 18 month period.• Constant liaison with colleagues from North America and Asia Pacific regions.• High level of activity in long term goals and strategies, including specific commercial activities. i.e. logistics, business planning and monitoring overall profitability of the trans-national accounts
