I am a semi professional photographer based in the beautiful county of Dorset, United Kingdom where I have lived since 1989. I also have a full-time job which does not always allow the time I would like to devote to my photography, but you never know what the future holds.I enjoy travelling, having visited France, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Scotland in the past year or so, as well as exploring Dartmoor in Devon, and finally one of our favourite places of all time - Marazion and South West Cornwall (been here several times).I have been a photographer since I was a teenager starting with film in both Colour and Black & White, and a good old Praktica camera with 3 lenses. In 2009, I switched to Digital Photography starting with a basic Konica Minolta camera, progressing to Canon APS-C's and finally Canon Full Frame. I still own a film camera (Canon one now) but it has not been out for some time.Although Landscapes are still my favourite subject, if the mood and opportunity are right, I will photograph anything.Always up for a challenge and trying something new, I am more than happy to take on commissions and projects.​Above all, my real passion lies in Black & White photography and this is where I am looking to develop going forward, although Colour will always figure in my portfolio.
