Overseeing all financial, treasury and investor relations at Farmers Edge and its international operations.

Publicly traded diversified corporation with investments throughout Canada and the United States made up of two segments: aerospace & aviation and manufacturing. Acting as Executive Vice President of Finance for the company’s aerospace group of companies with global sales and multi-country operations. Direct reporting to the Executive COO and President, responsible for oversight of accounting and reporting for the finance function of the aerospace subsidiaries. This is the largest area of operations and organic investment for EIC. Involved in detailed investment analysis and return projections for capital injection decision making as well as comparison analysis post-investment.Other responsibilities include a role with EIC’s investor relations and marketing, and oversight of EIC executive compensation programs. As acquisition targets arise, involvement in various due diligence roles and, for those acquisitions within the aerospace group, integration management post-closing.Several other roles during my experience at EIC (VP & COO Manufacturing Segment, Interim CFO, VP Finance & Mgr Financial Reporting). Other specific achievements or projects that I have been involved in include: leading the consolidated corporation in the assessment and conversion to International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”); website redesign and administration; annual report and investor presentation theme designs; scoping and implementation of financial reporting system (IBM’s Cognos FSR) used for external reporting documents; transition to electronic dissemination of Board materials using BoardVantage; and the oversight and accounting for the company’s employee share purchase plan and executive long-term incentive plan.
