I am a key member of the KS Associates Coastal Engineering Group, which specializes in planning and designing infrastructure projects along the Great Lakes and inland bodies of water. I work with a skilled team of coastal engineers who have specific expertise in marine engineering. My specialty in the group is the structural design of marine structures composed of concrete, steel, or timber. I have lead the design and been the engineer of record for projects.I have a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University at Galveston in Offshore and Coastal Systems engineering and a master of science degree from Texas A&M University at College Station in Ocean Engineering. My Master’s level of study included coastal structure design, wind and fluid dynamics, equations of motion and fluid transport, complex fluid dynamics interactions with ocean/coastal structures, sediment transport and nearshore processes, and large-scale currents and physical oceanography. Knowledgeable in shore structure permitting, including USACE, ODNR, and OEPA permitting requirements.
