I manage the oyster recycling partnership with Shore Fresh and the American Littoral Society. I collect and transfer used oyster shells to the Littoral Society for their Shuck It, Don't Chuck It initiative. Since June of 2022, Shore Fresh has recycled nearly 3000 pounds of shells. In this role, I completed the following tasks on a regular basis: - Conducted bill research & created policy briefs for the Senator;- Fielded constituent concerns on legislative matters via district inbox and office phone; - Managed an intern program. This included training high school and college students in legislative procedures, constituent outreach, and other administrative tasks. - Responded to over 1,600 constituent emails on legislative matters between June and January; - Transported and staffed Senator Greenstein at weekly meetings and events. - Participated in bill drafting meetings with government affairs groups, lobbyists and other stakeholders.

I built several rain-collection barrels, studied stormwater management, collected water samples throughout the Toms River, and taught children about the importance of protecting our local watersheds during seine fishing classes that I led.
