-Advise the Dean of Students and University Leadership Team on matters of campus life for a newly established university in Shanghai China; the third degree granting campus of New York University, which includes a student body of 1500+ students from 80 countries.-Set goals, objectives, and provide strategic planning to enhance the quality of undergraduate student life.-Develop the organizational structure of Student Affairs including supervision of 35+ full time employees.-Oversee multiple functional areas including: Student Housing, Residential Life, Student Involvement, Career Development, Student Government, Athletics, Visa and Mobility, Community Standards, Chinese Student Life, New Student and Diversity Programs.-Manage budget of 5.5 Million USD for programs, operations, and auxiliary housing.-Led the student life team on the physical transition from a temporary campus and residence hallto a permanent campus and long-term residence hall with 1000+ bed spaces.-Facilitate students, faculty, and staff discussions on cross cultural and new trends in globalhigher education.-Develop, oversee, and implement programs, policies, procedures, and structures that support,counsel and respond to student life needs, including serving as the one of two primary leadresponders for incidents involving sexual misconduct.-Engage and respond to community constituents including government units, parents, alumni,and university partners.-Work collaboratively and creatively with staff and faculty in various department offices in 14 NYU academic centers or degree campuses around the world to establish comprehensive living and learning standards for students who circulate among all 14 sites.
