Finally took the plunge and paid for a fast track course that provided me with a good foundation to start a new career.

After originally starting as a supervisor I quickly became familiar with the business and began to improve my knowledge of the general operations.I was promoted shortly to Bar Manager and began to learn more about how to manage the business.Due to my background and experience I presented myself to become the Nightclub Manger which was granted.I now currently hold responsibility of the Nightclub but also take on general managerial duties of the venue.My duties include cashing up, opening/closing of venue, stock management, wages, ordering, attending meetings, customer care, improving business opportunities, staff management, staff training, daily checks, banking, networking, promotion, make bookings etc.

Worked a full season as a bartender in one of the busiest bars on the sunset strip in Ibiza, international DJ's would play most nights bringing large crowds of people.During the day Cafe Savannah is a cafe/restaurant/bar and would experience very high footfall.I would work 9-15hr shifts with only 2 days off per month, my duties included handling cash, preparing fruit, serving drinks (over bar & table service), cocktail barman, barista trained, deep cleaning, set up and close down of bars, advise PR team.

After going through two interviews and a trial I was the only promoter to be chosen out of 200+ interviewees, I was part of a 4 man team and promoted 8 hours per day 6 days per week for Cafe Mambo.Our job was to inform people of what DJ's would be playing at Cafe Mambo on the night. due to the nature of how the business operated the DJ's would be willing to play at the venue as Cafe Mambo would host the pre-parties for some of the biggest club nights on the island. Many of the most well known international DJ's play at Cafe Mambo and draw in thousands of people, we had to make sure as many people knew about it as possible in less than a 24hr period.We also would promote the restaurant and book tables.
