Sole provider in the Emergency Department. Both facilities are Level IV Minnesota Dept of Health Trauma Hospitals.

Provided care to patients in Urgent Care and in the ER at this critical access hospital. Single coverage. Urgent Care & ER combined volume of approximately 23,000/year. High acuity in the ER.

PA in the emergency department of this ACS/COT Level 1 Trauma Center. I directly cared for all ranges of patients: adult & pediatric: medical and trauma, minor injury and illnesses, to multi-system trauma and major medical patients.Emergency Department also has an emergency medicine residency. My last University rank was: Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine. Other responsibilities included lecturing and teaching skills to the emergency medicine residents, as well as to PA's in the emergency medicine training program.

Flight crew member & preceptor.. Very busy flight program with high acuity. Flight program consists of 5 BK-117's. (C-1). Tampa General Hospital is a 1,000 bed, Level 1 Adult & Pediatric Trauma Center, Burn Center, Spinal Cord Injury Center, Rehab Center, Cardiac/Vascular Center. Adult ED is 65 beds. Pediatric ED is 25 beds. Trauma Center is 5 bays (separate from the two ED's, with separate staff). ED also has an emergency medicine residency.Procedures authorized in helicopter: surgical cric's, extremity amputations, escharotomy, central lines, RSI (all since 1989).I have over 2,000 flights completed.

Street paramedic in a high volume EMS System, with very advanced medical protocols. Began 12-lead EKG's in the field in 1989. Procedures performed: central lines, intra-cardiac injections, chest tubes, surgical cric's, Calling codes in the field initiated in this EMS system in 1992.
