With a strong financial services based career starting at what was once regarded as one of the oldest and most influential British merchant banks, Morgan Grenfell & Co, David is a respected senior advisor to a range of businesses. When Deutsche Bank acquired Morgan Grenfell in 1990, David continued to progress his career, performing the role of MD of Finance and a wide variety of Directorships and other roles working out of London, before moving to Sydney as Chief Financial Officer of Deutsche Bank Australia & New Zealand in 2007.After 34 years with the Deutsche Group, gaining extensive experience at Director level, leading and managing complex finance functions with broad governance and managerial responsibility, David retired from Deutsche in 2013. Today, applying the skills he gained through substantial involvement in UK charitable organisations, David is CFO two rapidly evolving companies with profound social purposes. Mandura, a unique workplace supplies business partnered with Winc, Australia's largest office supplies company. Since Mandura was created in late 2021, it has onboarded a significant number of First Nation employees who each play an integral role in facilitating the company's success.The Nallawilli Group is a hub of young and dynamic First Nation owned startup companies that are creating future-proofed, sustainable work opportunities for First Nation individuals and businesses. Nallawilli Bunjil is a technology company reimaging traditional methods of land, property and other asset management.
