Manages and monitors operational activities within the production plant to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Ensures company standard practice is defined, implemented and driven daily through plant management in order to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations while maintaining company standards. • Interpret state and federal regulations and directives.• Develop and implement company safety and health policy and procedures.• Promote a culture of safety by ensuring site personnel is properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, state & local regulations.• Ensure compliance with regulations by performing necessary inspections and reporting. • Conducts on-sight accident investigations and provide resolution recommendations.• Serves as liaison between department fire marshals to coordinate fire inspections.• Performs environmental tours and risk assessments to ensure safety practices are in adherence.• Coordinate logistics for transportation of finished product from manufacturing site including profiling, scheduling, manifesting and physically loading LTL and Full Truck Load to maximize space.

Responsible for creating a safe environment while managing the overall production goals. Monitor and report federal, state, and local regulations on hazardous waste and emissions; and oversee production schedules are in adherence. Educate, drive and measure site performance to ensure full compliance with all hazardous material handling, storage, and waste management regulations as a part of daily operations.• Personnel management of production staff.• Prioritizes and plans production schedules to meet customer ship dates.• Developed, incorporated, and conducted safety and health training.• Developed and implemented environmental permits: Storm Water Permit and M.A.C.T. Standard.• Oversees and accounts for federal, state, and local regulations on hazard wasted and emissions: TRI, EPA Form R, Texas Tier Two, and Source Reduction Waste Management Plan.
