Yellow Brick Coffee roasts single origin coffee in Tucson, Arizona. All of our coffee can be traced back to the farm or cooperative from which it came. After green coffee is received, it is roasted many different ways and is cupped blindly so as to seek out it's specific roasting profile. The roast profile of each single origin coffee is intended to showcase the most outstanding characteristics of that coffee and thus highlights the farm and region where the coffee comes from. Yellow Brick Coffee often travels to origin in order to meet with farmers, source coffee, and gain knowledge of growing practices around the world.We have collaborated with local businesses and has contributed in the making of two craft beers made with Yellow Brick Coffee.Over the past year, I have helped to open Yellow Brick Coffee's first public roasting facility which is also a weekday coffee shop. I roast and cup all coffees at YBC, and I connect with wholesale clients who carry or wish to carry coffee from Yellow Brick Coffee. Yellow Brick markets directly to it's customers by serving coffee at multiple farmers markets in the Tucson area and is able to connect with individuals who have questions about the origins and wish to purchase locally roasted coffee. I have assisted in the oversight of Yellow Brick Coffees presence in many large events, including festivals and fundraisers.I have attended the Specialty Coffee Associations of America's National Conference in Seattle, Washington.I have met with farmers in Guatemala, Honduras, Hawaii, and El Salvador. I will continue to travel to origin as travel is one of my greatest passions. I am fluent in English and Spanish. And I speak beginning Japanese, Italian, and Portuguese.My education background is in Spanish Linguistics as well as International Hospitality.
