Subsea Equipment Manager for the Liwan Project (South Chnia Sea). Overall responsibility for management (Contractual, Technical and Delivery) of the equipment supply contract ($250Mil+). A deepwater (2000m) subsea development, consisting of 19 Trees, 3 complex Manfolds, SDH, Subsea and Tospides Controls and all field tie in systems. Principal lead for Tender evaluations and selection both technically and contractually.

Joined new Subsea Operating Division formed to spear head JRM into the SURF business. Managed major Subsea EPIC tendering activities in the Asia Pacific Area, based in Singapore. Division integrated into JRM core departments in January 2010.

July 2006 to July 08: Project Director (London) for BP Taurt Subsea Production System EPC Contract (Egypt), value USD$175Mil+, reporting staff 140 peak. Corporate responsibility for project profitability, on time delivery and quality of product. Accountable for 6 Cameron facilities project performance, each with a Project Manager, Leeds UK (Tree’s & Tooling), Singapore (Wellheads), Celle Germany (Controls), Houston (Subsea Structures), Alexandria Egypt (Fabrication). Project completed and in production June 08. October 2005 to July 2006: Project Manager (Leeds) for Total Akpo Subsea Production System (1500m WD) Intervention Systems EPC, value USD$100Mil+, reporting staff 45. Responsible for all installation and interventions works; Multiplexed Rig Controls Sets, Open Water Riser, In-Riser Landing String and ROV Equipment. Project completed with delivery of intervention equipment. August 2002 to October 2005: Project Director (Paris) for Agip Bahr Essalam EPIC (Subsea) Project, JV with Saipem and Doris, Cameron Contract Value USD$200.0Mil+, reporting staff 160 peak. Corporate responsibility for project profitability, on time delivery and quality of product. Accountable for 6 Cameron facilities project performance, each with a Project Manager, Leeds (Tree’s, R/tools & Test equipment), Aberdeen (Completions Riser & Service support), Celle Germany (Production Controls), Bezier France (Valve), Longford Ireland (Chokes), Singapore (Wellheads). Brief SOW: Design, Manufacture and Installation of 12xSTM15 Wellheads, 12xDual Bore Trees, 2xCompletions Risers, R/Tools, Test Equipment, Topsides and Subsea Production Controls and Work Over Controls. September 1996 to May 98 : Proposal Manager, Project Manager Designate, for the AMOCO Montrose Gas Export EPIC tender (USD$150mil). Responsible for process optimisation studies, turbine/compressor optimisation, platform structural concept, brown field tie-ins, control system upgrade, and for the Alliance based EPIC tender submission. Proposal Manager, Engineering Manager Designate, for the McDermott “offshore engineering scope” of the ARCO EPCM enquiry “Quatar/Dubai Gas Project and the Al-Rayyan Oil Project”. A joint Kellogg/JGC/McDermott bid for engineering/procurement and construction management valued at circa USD$120mil (services only). CAPEX value of both project approx usd$2.0Billion.
