From working at KMPG and obtaining my CA (SA) I have detailed knowledge of accounting systems, processes and controls. I also specialised in IT audit and from experience gained from additional studies and on the job opportunities (including being the IT Finance Manager at BAT South Africa) have strategic knowledge of IT investment decisions and TCO management. I have managed the entire Finance function in BAT South Africa and completed a number of roles from Head of Accounting Services, Head of Reporting and Finance Controller. As a member of the Finance Leadership Team I have experience in designing business strategy, managing a function of over 60 staff members including their development and delivering on the Finance KPI's. Having worked in London in the Global Head office I also have experience in Managing projects that span the global organisation and acquired the skills of influencing at a cross functional level.I have also gained experience working across Africa and leading diverse finance teams in multiple locations with high degrees of business and organizational complexity.Most importantly, I really enjoy what I do and learning from diverse people across the entire length and breath of the organization as well as external stakeholders.
