The Principal Fleet Assessor performs assessments of processes and programs at all nuclear sites and verifies implementation in accordance with fleet/site procedures. The Principal Fleet Assessor analyzes facts from observations of various work activities, interviews, and document reviews. The Principal Fleet Assessor evaluates whether or not industry standards are met, if performance improvement opportunities exist, and if high levels of performance are achieved and sustained.

This position is responsible for the preparation of the work control documents required for supporting preventive, corrective, and elective maintenance of equipment and structures. The maintenance planner is also responsible for select design change work order planning and field engineering. Provide technical work instructions in all (mechanical, electrical and instrument and controls) work orders for the repair/refurbishment and preventive maintenance of facility equipment. ) Develop and/or revise repetitive task, preventive maintenance documents (PM’s), and all Maintenance Department Controlled Procedures with assistance from other plant personnel including engineering and craft.
