My first project at AMT was to work with the Marketing department to establish the company's online presence which was to create an up-to-date Lead Generation website. I took majority ownership of writing and implementing the front end experience on all devices. (UX, JQuery, Bootstrap, CSS). After the Apprenticeship was over - I stayed with WTS in order to continue my growth.This was done by taking ownership of existing projects' continuous support and modernizing older elements of websites. And also gaining experience in building solutions from scratch for a client's needs. While appropriately handling the feedback loop to remain within budget. This was my first experience with Delivery Methodologies.During this time I also pushed for the idea. and built the first working version of a PHP Google Captcha verification to reduce spam. Which was a common issue known to our websites. This was demo'ed, and used by myself along with mass adoption for older websites and is in use by other developers. This was later pushed to legacy sites and the company's main website.I left due to wanting further prospects. Started an Apprenticeship for the first year of working with WTS and was asked to stay on after I had completed the course. While starting as a junior developer in the first months assisting the lead developer in his duties and high workload. My objective was to become Software and Web Development literate while working to tight deadlines.
