A member of department management team responsibilities including:•Organizing manpower and equipment to relevant area's•Planning and carrying out supervision of evolution's, and ensuring safety protocol adhered to •Overseeing several jobs being carried out at any one time•Delivering training to personnel on use and maintenance of safety/sea survival equipment •Developing and implementing new idea's and plans•Creating training plans•Berthing and mooring of ships•Launch and Recovery of Boats/Vessels•Boat Driving•Employing Various Maintenance Techniques•Upper deck evolution's including anchoring and towing procedures•Identifying and using different types of ropes and lines•Splicing techniques on many different types of rope•Expertise on knots, bends and hitches•Experience of sail making and repair •Sea Survival Equipment maintenance

Site Management:• Managing several jobs and work forces at one time• Management of manpower assigned to site• Keeping records of hours worked, equipment used and equipment required• Ensuring Health and Safety protocol being followed• Point of contact for all clients on site• Organising any urgent/emergency work to be carried out• Providing training and ensuring supervision of new/young employees• Organising deliveries of equipment onto site• Enforcing method statements and safe systems of work• Running administration for site• Developing and implementing new ideas and plansSheeting and Cladding:• Sheeting of large scale projects using single skin and composite panel materials• Over cladding buildings• Installing and replacing guttering systems (Light and Heavy Duty)• Translucent sky lighting installation and replacement• Flashings manufacture and installation• Installing galvanized sheeting• Emergency repair techniques
