I graduated cum laude from Cameron University in Lawton in 2011 with a BA in English-Creative Writing and minor in Psychology. I also attended the University of Oklahoma for one semester pursuing a double-major in Journalism and English before moving home to finish at Cameron. During college, I worked occasionally as a substitute teacher for Lawton Public Schools. I also was involved in student organizations and activities and worked on or for two different literary journals and an arts and entertainment magazine. Since graduation, I founded my own publishing company and self-published my writings, and I also have worked several varied positions that have helped me acquire or improve upon skills in customer service, telephone and electronic communications, computer software, and problem solving, and my education and experience have allowed me to steadily progress into better positions. My goals include working upward in salary in order to save toward furthering my education, in order to better pursue my real goal of establishing a career in writing, editing, and publishing, but I also have the skills and experience and an interest in teaching or training.
