David was promoted to the District Level in a newly created position as Director of Choice Recruitment through the School Magnet Office. His responsibilities include but are not limited to recapturing Non-Traditional students and families through the shared alignment of school options with feeder patterns and specialty schools via public presentations and year-round school tours. Mr. Pinter oversees the expansion of the Federal Assistance Program (FAP). In his first two (2) years in this position, David Pinter recuperated approximately $2million for the District from returning students/families and approximately $10million in DoDEA Grants (over the next five years) via a 102.9% increase in the return of Federal Impact Aid (FIA) forms. Since then, as prior mentioned, a First in the Nation Direct Certification Process has been established between the United States Department of Education (USDOE) and the Department of Defense (DoD) which will increase funding exponentially via DoD and the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE).Last but not least, Mr. Pinter is at the forefront of embedding apprenticeship partnerships with local businesses via our Career and Technical Education Department (CTE), the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce (JAXUSA), the First Coast Manufacturers Association (FCMA) and our Military Contractors (DoD).

David Pinter is the immediate past Principal of Fort Caroline Elementary School in Jacksonville, Florida. David just completed his thirty-third year in public education and twenty-third year as an administrator, Mr. Pinter has served in schools in West Palm Beach, North Palm Beach, Lake Park and Jacksonville, FL. David has led schools to Florida “A” Ratings, Florida “Top 100” School for Academic Gains and Florida Inclusionary Model (FIN). His schools have also been the recipient of the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Award.David’s speaking engagements include the first ever “Extreme Leadership Symposium” in Santa Ana, CA, a dual presentation to the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) Distinguished Principals and District Staff (also in Santa Ana, CA) and most recently, the Inaugural RE-ENERGIZE EDUCATION Conference in San Diego, CA aboard the USS Midway (all with Wall Street Journals Best Selling Author, Steve Farber)!Mr. Pinter has been utilized within his own district as a speaker and is called upon for the recruitment and retention of Principals in the regionally acclaimed Principals Academy through the Schultz Center for Teaching and Leadership. David Pinter has been the President of the Duval Elementary School Principals (DESP) Association which meets monthly with the Superintendent of Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) via the Liaison Committee. This position is a three year rotation.Recently, David presented Common Core School Standards (CCSS- now Florida Standards) Principal Trainings on behalf of State of Florida in Palm Beach and Duval County.Most recently, David attended, at the request of his Superintendent, a CCSS National Conference sponsored by Foundations for Florida’s Future in Phoenix, AZ. David Pinter received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and his Master’s of Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida (UNF).
