Helping to create, implement and maintain a high quality coaching philosophy and structure across all of the WMF franchises. We Make Footballers are the #1 rated football coaching company in the UK (as of all Trustpilot ratings and reviews up to and including Jan 2020), currently employing over 150 coaches who in turn coach over 2,000 children on a weekly basis.Within this role some key duties include:- Evaluating weekly session content, keeping it relevant and essential to the key developmental factors identified by We Make Footballers.- Liaising with Franchise Owners and Academy Managers to help ensure the WMF coaching philosophies are being rolled out in manners which suit each individual centre. To also pick up on and note common trends across the country to help our coaches, and our sessions, evolve accordingly based upon real time feedback.- To ensure the company is aware of, and acts upon, all relevant coaching trends and knowledge both nationally and globally.- Creating, organising and sharing CPD content (sessions / CPD days / newsletters etc)- Helping all WMF coaches receive as much work as possible with “franchise coach sharing” initiatives. Also helping each franchise with a platform to hopefully never be understaffed.- To help ensure that every child who attends a WMF session anywhere in the world receives a high quality, challenging and fun experience, regardless of age, sex or ability.

Beginning in the 2021/22 season, I am responsible for helping our best young players develop individually and prepare them for first team football at WSL level and beyond.As ‘Interim’ Head Coach for 6 months of the first season my learning was accelerated and proudly resulted in more players successfully navigating the pathway into first team squad.Working with international players to younger players beginning their journey in the PDP phase, the experiences gained here are crucial to my own development.
