David Pisor is an award-winning entrepreneur and founder of etta collective. David is the Managing Partner at etta collective -- the parent company to a portfolio of dynamic and profitable brands – Maple & Ash (sold in Jan 2023), Aya Pastry (commercial bakery), Monarch (Sold in Jan 2023), Cafe Sophie and etta restaurants (Bucktown, River North, Culver City, Miami, Dallas, Scottsdale, Fulton Market & Evanston) – each contributing to the growing national hospitality group. Prior to creating Maple & Ash, Pisor partnered with Tommy Hilfiger on the iconic Miami property The Raleigh Hotel, where he guided the zoning and development of the hotel property before selling in 2017. His previous development, Elysian Hotel and Residences quickly became one of the most recognizable brands in five-star luxury when it opened in 2009, receiving top honors with travel awards: Condé Nast Traveler 2011 Readers’ Choice Awards #1 in the U.S., #1 Hotel in the U.S. by Trip Advisor, and Travel + Leisure’s “World’s Best Awards 2011” before being acquired by Hilton Worldwide and Waldorf Astoria group in 2012.
