About David Platt

I am a rocket scientist... Well, not exactly. Though I do love rockets, and I do use science. I am, however, your pragmatic engineer with a strong passion for aerospace. I am always eager to learn new things and push the boundaries of what is possible, but I insist on a practical and feasible application for every new technology I encounter. I focus on the development of greener technologies and designs which aim to achieve sustainable living.My passions also include volunteer work and conservation, resulting from growing up in South Africa, a country rich in beauty and wildlife, yet poverty stricken. I am currently a volunteer at Light Patrol, responding to the needs of Toronto's homeless and street-involved youth. I also plan to be actively involved in wildlife conservation in Africa in the near future.
