Liaison with contractors with regard to contractual and operational matters and auditing and approval of the monthly contractor progress claims.Providing detailed short, medium and long term mine plans to assist in meeting production and cost targets. Preparation of the Life of Mine Plan and Open Pit Mining Budget including physicals and operating costs. Tracking, analysis and reporting of production and cost data.Whittle optimization, pit design and production scheduling. This process involved the construction of owner miner cost model, the review of the geotechnical design parameters and the evaluation and optimization of the resource model.Analysis and management of cost saving initiatives including roster changes, workforce restructuring, contract re-negotiations and fleet changes.
