Based in Singapore at M2 level, responsibilities include the development and enhancement of Ground Transport as a suite of products (including financial reporting where possible), provide leadership to dotted line in-country reports, increase capability and introduce innovation within the region, support Business Development proposals, increase efficiencies and profitability. Leveraged of the success of the Cross Border product to stabilize and triple revenue, recommend and guide RFQ for Indonesia (improving margin & creating network stability), improved operations in the Philippines, improved milkrun performance on GM Thailand, guided Singapore through Energy RFQ, and the commencement of the “various commodity” RFQ plus lead the CEVA Ground China restructure. The recent addition of HSE to the title relates to my provision of leadership to the Asia Pacific HSE Manager.

National role based in Sydney tasked with the development and enhancement of various National rail corridors through tendering, optimization and implementation for ambient and temperature control supermarket deliveries and return produce. Part of a project team that successfully converted the transport provider operation to an in-house operation for a 3,000 kilometer interstate rail linehaul corridor into remote outback Australia. My task was to also develop, sell and manage the return of temperamental seasonal produce under temperature control.

Held various National Management roles whilst based in Sydney with responsibilities including network development, Carrier negotiation, analysis, business development, solutions design, implementation and operational support for the Primary Freight initiative of DC inbound goods from suppliers. I worked on the introduction of innovative technology including implementation of Euro 5 prime mover fleet, elimination of hazardous trailer gates via introduction of trailers with load restraint curtains plus high cube low deck trailers. I was also seconded to perform Logistics project work for supermarket deliveries

Rayong Thailand

During my short tenure, I was based in Rayong Thailand. Responsibilities included managing the P&L, set up of the warehouse, receipt, storage and dispatch of various Electrolux whitegoods within greater Thailand.

National role based in Sydney responsible for Carrier negotiations, analysis and Business Development support during the start up of the Primary Freight initiative (inbound from supplier).

This role was based in Sydney where I was responsible for managing the P&L for a National warehouse and the associated distribution of spare parts to supplier and site. I successfully met the objective of correcting this negative margin operation within first three months under tough unionized conditions.

Australia Rheem Contract This was a National Account Management role based in Sydney. Responsibilities included the P&L, direct management of warehouse and distribution. Quickly corrected the negative P&L, improved processes, eliminated inventory losses within warehouse and dispatch, significantly reduced damages, introduced safety harness (winning internal award) and achieved > 95% in externally conducted site audit (precursor to the current Site Classification program).

Based in Sydney, I was responsible for managing the P&L, the receipt of inbound, put-away, stock management, order picking, value add conversion (many SKU's into one), dispatch of up to 15,000 orders per day plus associated returns. This was a loss making contract that was rescued through improved processes, negotiation and innovation (implementation of a carton erecting machine).
