Coordinate ongoing improvements to security management policies and procedures.Utilize computer applications to monitor the security of critical systems (e.g., e-mail servers, database servers, web servers, etc) and modifications to highly sensitive computer security controls to ensure appropriate system administrative actions, investigate and report on discovered anomalies. Conduct network vulnerability and Penetration assessments. Apply Information security knowledge to evaluate diverse attack vectors and devise remediation plans to patch the discovered vulnerabilities. Ensure organizational compliance with PCI and NYDFS standards. Manage the SIEM appliance. Produce multiple alerts from the SIEM to notify of any irregular activities within the corporate environment and investigate. Investigate potential or actual security violations to perform the proper Incident response procedures to identify issues within the present policies and procedures the organization already adheres to. Partner with multiple departments to find security gaps within the companies' standard procedures. Build daily and weekly reports providing information about connections occurring within the network.
